Memory Management 101
Keep your team under cap without losing power — practical budgeting and upgrade timing.
How Memory Works
- Every Digimon consumes a fixed memory value by stage and role.
- Your party has a shared memory cap; teams that exceed it cannot be fielded.
- Cap increases via story milestones, items, or facility upgrades.
Low-Memory Archetypes
- Budget Control: One carry DPS + low-memory supports for utility and resist coverage.
- Speed Tempo: Fast rookies/champions to steal turns, then pivot once cap rises.
- Tank + Two Flex: Single sturdy front with two low-memory flex picks.
When to Upgrade
- When your composition must include two mid/high-memory anchors.
- When you’re forced to drop key coverage (e.g., no Water vs Fire-heavy zones).
- Before a boss wall — cap upgrades are high-ROI at choke points.
Sample Budget Teams
Team | Memory | Idea |
Agumon + Veemon + Support | ~12–14 | Fast pivots into Greymon/ExVeemon |
Rookie Trio (mixed elements) | ~10–12 | Speed + coverage, easy upgrades |
